Kids love snacks. I like to find things that look similar to what other kids eat, so my kids don’t feel too different. Here are some of our favorites and where you can get them. When you are looking for snacks, READ the Labels! If there are ingredients that you have never heard of, think twice about getting it.
Costco:
Fruit Leather
Rice Crackers
Super Target:
Annie’s Cheddar Bunnies (healthy version of goldfish)
Sesmark Savory Minis Rice Crackers (lightly salted)-these are one of our favorites
Kashi- origanal 7 grain
Cliff bars
Snyders Pretzals (have no trans fat)
Clif kid twisted fruit (in the fruit snack section)
Trader Joes:
Honey Wheat Pretzal sticks
Dried Mangos
Mini Rice crackers

Comment by Kelly November 3, 2009 @ 9:02 pmThis is a great site Jen. I hope to learn from you and try some new things for my family. I didn’t realize you moved for a month. I wondered where you were at Friday fun. Is there a trader joes close by? Also, you mentioned rainbow vitamins for your kids. Where do you get them? Thanks, Mindy
Comment by henryteachers November 21, 2009 @ 2:30 amI love Trader Joes, and there is one right by my parents house (in California). I get my rainbow vitamins at Whole Foods, but Good Earth might have them too.
